About us The Druid Bar is a busy and welcoming bar committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences to the Beaches area. We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and passionate Line Cook to join our kitchen team.

Position Summary

As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and executing menu items according to our recipes and standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workstation. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, works well with a team, and takes pride in producing high-quality food.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Ensure proper storage, rotation, and labeling of food products
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Assist with prep work and closing duties as required




- Help maintain a positive and qualified kitchen environment

Requirements

- Minimum 2 years previous line cook or kitchen experience
- Food Handlers preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Solid attention to detail and food quality
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week

Ability to commute/relocate

- Toronto, ON M4E 1E6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:
- Kitchen: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
