Duties
- Operate automated production and packaging machines.
- Set up and calibrate production machinery, equipment, and other manufacturing tools to optimize performance
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files to ensure accurate machining and assembly
- Use hand tools, and basic math skills to measure parts accurately and verify quality during production
- Perform routine inspections of machinery to troubleshoot issues and maintain smooth operation
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the manufacturing process to meet strict standards and specifications
- Assist with packaging finished products and prepare them for shipment while adhering to safety protocols in warehouse environments
Experience
- Proven experience operating production machines or similar equipment in a manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, mechanical principles, and machining processes
- Hands-on experience with machine operations, assembly work, and the use of hand tools in a production environment
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation is an asset
- Strong attention to detail with good basic math skills for precise measurements and quality assurance
Work schedule:
- Weekends coverage
- Weekday evenings as per production need.
- Mornings, Days, evenings and night shifts as per production need.
- Shift times may vary depending on business requirements.
