This Treasury Manager role will have a primary focus on Asset Liability Management (ALM) at Amex Bank of Canada (Bank), including the ongoing development, maintenance and execution of the Bank’s ALM framework under Basel and OSFI requirements. The role will lead analysis and recommendations related to interest rate risk, earnings and economic value sensitivity, balance sheet optimization, assumptions, limits and stress testing. The role will also provide strategic oversight and program management support for the Bank’s capital management framework and priorities.

This role resides within the Global Treasury Legal Entity Management (LEM) group under the Global Treasury Organization. The LEM team is part of the Enterprise Balance Sheet Strategy Organization, which has enterprise-wide accountabilities for satisfying complex and evolving regulatory requirements and expectations. The LEM team is responsible for coordinating and supporting the delivery of treasury services for international legal entities, ensuring that corporate-wide treasury principles, strategies and policies are consistently applied across all legal entities while reflecting local environmental and governance requirements, regulations and business models.
