A growing residential construction company is looking for an entrepreneurial Ontario Master Electrician who wants more than just another job.
This is an opportunity to help build an electrical division from the ground up within a company focused on practical, repeatable residential construction. The right person will have real input into electrical systems, material planning, workflow, pricing, tools, and how the division grows over time.
How we work
We are building a small, high-standard company where people are treated like professionals, not kept in the dark or treated as disposable.
That means clear communication, fair pay, respect for trade knowledge, and room to challenge ideas respectfully. We want people who can speak up, teach others, disagree without making it personal, and work toward the best outcome for the crew and the customer.
The goal is not to churn through employees. It is to build a capable team that stays because the work is honest, the standards are high, and people have a real voice in how the company improves.
The first opportunity The initial chance is anticipated to begin in July or August 2027, subject to final project approvals, financing, and scheduling.
It is expected to be a paid, fixed-term, full-time role on a straightforward detached residential new build in northern Ontario. Travel and accommodation can be provided for the right candidate.
You would lead and participate in:
- Service and utility coordination.
- Load planning and panel installation.
- Electrical rough-in, inspection coordination, trim, and final ESA closeout.
- Electrical material takeoffs and procurement input.
- Development of practical electrical standards and systems for future homes.
- Input on tools, workflow,
scheduling, safety, and how the electrical division operates.
Long-term potential For the right person, this could develop into a long-term Electrical Lead role with increasing responsibility and input into the direction of the company. If the first project proves to be a strong mutual fit and the workload supports it, there may be an opportunity to discuss a permanent northern Ontario role, profit sharing, or a future ownership path. Those conversations will be open and earned—not used as vague promises to keep someone around.
