About the Role

Empire Fitness is looking for a motivated, outgoing Mandarin-speaking team member to support membership sales and front desk operations. If you enjoy connecting with people, providing excellent service, and helping others achieve their fitness goals, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

- Welcome members and visitors, manage check-ins, and provide gym tours.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries about memberships and services.
- Explain membership options, complete registrations, process payments, and maintain accurate member records.
- Generate leads and follow up with prospective members by phone, email, and in person.
- Sell memberships and achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Build robust relationships with recent and existing members to support satisfaction and retention.
- Handle member concerns professionally and refer issues to management when needed.
- Identify sales opportunities through local outreach, networking, and community events.
- Track leads, follow-ups, and sales using CRM or membership management software.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area and assist with daily gym operations.
- Work with the team to support promotions and business growth.

Requirements





- Fluency in spoken and written Mandarin and English.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Confidence explaining membership options and closing sales.
- Motivated, proactive, and comfortable working toward sales targets.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team.
- Sales, front desk, or customer service experience preferred; two years is an asset.
- Familiarity with CRM, payment processing, or membership management software is an asset.
- An interest in fitness and wellness is a plus.
