We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Naturopathic Doctor to join our holistic healthcare team. The Naturopathic
Doctor will play a vital role in guiding patients toward optimal health using natural therapies, lifestyle counseling, and integrative approaches.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, lifestyle, and nutritional evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing natural therapies such as herbal medicine, nutrition, acupuncture, and lifestyle modifications.
- Provide patient care with a focus on pediatrics when applicable, ensuring age-appropriate treatment strategies.
- Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and holistic wellness practices.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay current with advancements in naturopathic medicine and continuously enhance clinical skills through ongoing education.
- Ensure a safe, welcoming environment for all patients while adhering to professional standards and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid licensure or certification to practice as a Naturopathic Doctor in the Ontario
- Experience or strong interest in pediatrics and patient care within a holistic health setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to naturopathic medicine.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate patients effectively.
- Compassionate approach with a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and treatment planning.
