Overview

We are seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians for an ongoing project in Edmonton. This role requires skilled professionals capable of handling complex electrical tasks across various industrial and construction settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, schematic interpretation, and hands-on experience with a variety of tools and technologies.

Duties

- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in industrial and commercial environments.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and repairs.
- Work with low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and power tools to complete electrical tasks efficiently.
- Perform wiring of control panels, circuit breakers, and other electrical components following safety standards.
- Assist with renovation projects by updating or replacing existing electrical infrastructure.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform installation and maintenance work.




- Follow all safety protocols to identify potential hazards and prevent accidents in office.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure timely completion of projects.

Experience

- Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician in industrial or construction settings.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical codes.
- Experience working with low voltage systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment related to electrical work.
- Background in renovation projects or general construction is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
- Hands-on experience with industrial wiring, control systems, and troubleshooting complex electrical issues.
- Valid journeyman certification or license required for the role.
