Part-Time | Contract Position | In-Home Visits

We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and skilled Pediatric Occupational Therapist to provide in-home occupational therapy services to children and their families. This is a part-time contract opportunity with the flexibility to add additional hours as caseload availability increases.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, values family-centred care, and is comfortable providing individualized therapy services in home and community settings.

Duties

- Provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions for pediatric clients in their homes.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on each child's needs.
- Address areas such as sensory processing and regulation, fine motor skills, handwriting, gross motor coordination, self-care, and functional participation.
- Provide caregivers with strategies and recommendations to support skill development at home.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, progress notes, and reports.
- Communicate and collaborate with families and other professionals involved in the child's care.
- Manage scheduling and travel between client homes as required.

Requirements

- Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO).




- Pediatric occupational therapy experience preferred.
- Robust communication, organizational, and clinical reasoning skills.
- Comfortable working independently and providing services in clients' homes.
- A reliable vehicle and valid driver's licence are required, as travel between client homes is an essential part of the role.
- Professional liability insurance and other requirements applicable to independent contract practice.
