Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Part Time Line Cook to join our culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment
- Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures at all times
- Support the team during busy service periods to ensure timely meal delivery
- Ensure all food served meets quality standards and presentation expectations
- Adhere to health regulations and safety guidelines related to food handling and sanitation
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant kitchens, especially in a line cook role
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and meal preparation processes
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude
- Basic serving skills for interacting with front-of-house staff when needed
- Knowledge of the food industry trends and best practices for kitchen operations
