Job Title: Pastry Baker – Puff Pastry / Laminated Dough (Part-Time, 2 Afternoons per Week)

About Us

Jozef's Pastry Boutique is a local pastry shop on West 15th Street in North Vancouver, offering fresh, handmade cakes, pastries, and sweets. We're looking for an experienced Pastry Baker who specializes in puff pastry and laminated dough to join our team part time.

What You'll Do

- Prepare and laminate puff pastry dough using a dough sheeter
- Shape, fill, and bake puff pastry products such as napoleons, palmiers, turnovers, and cream horns
- Maintain consistent layering, texture, and quality in every batch
- Manage dough temperature, resting, and chilling times
- Follow recipes and production schedules accurately
- Keep the work area clean and organized, following food safety standards

What We're Looking For




- Proven experience making puff pastry / laminated dough
- Experience operating a dough sheeter is an asset
- Strong understanding of butter and dough temperature control
- Attention to detail and consistency
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Available 2 afternoons per week on a regular schedule
- FoodSafe Level 1 (or willing to obtain)
- Experience with croissant or Danish dough is an asset
