Support family-centred childbirth care as a Perinatal Registered Nurse with Oak Valley Health, using assessment, critical thinking, and prioritization skills.

In the Childbirth and Children’s Centre, you will provide nursing care throughout antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases. The single-room maternity setting promotes birthing as a normal, healthy process and recognizes family as integral. Success requires communication, organization, teaching, and interprofessional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide care through antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases
- Promote family-centred care throughout the birthing experience
- Apply physical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Work effectively within interprofessional teams and independently




- Complete mandatory education and follow health and safety policies

Requirements:

- Current College of Nurses registration in valuable standing
- Minimum two years of recent perinatal experience
- Current neonatal resuscitation and Basic Life Support certifications
- Current fetal health surveillance monitoring certification expected
- Availability for 12-hour days, nights, weekends, and holidays
