We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to provide exceptional care and assistance to individuals in need of support within their homes or care facilities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, especially seniors and individuals with disabilities, and will be committed to enhancing their quality of life through personalized care. This role involves assisting with daily activities, medication management, and creating a safe, comfortable setting for clients.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive environment
- Administer medications following prescribed schedules and safety protocols
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and maintaining a safe living space
- Support clients with mobility exercises and assistive device use as needed
- Monitor and report any changes in health status or behavior to supervisors or healthcare professionals
- Assist with transportation to appointments or errands when required
- Follow care plans and document services provided accurately and thoroughly
- Provide other support and respite care as per the work contract.
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments preferred
- Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or dementia care is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medication administration and safety procedures
- Compassionate nature with excellent caregiving skills and patience
- Ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation tasks efficiently
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid certification in caregiving or relevant training is a plus but not mandatory
- Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to providing high-quality care
- Driver's license/ ability to drive to location.
Pay: $17.92 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 per week
