Better Life Rx is a brand-new, modern pharmacy located within a newly built long-term care facility in Burlington, Ontario. Serving both long-term care residents and the surrounding community, our pharmacy is committed to delivering safe, personalised and high-quality pharmaceutical care.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Pharmacy Manager to lead daily pharmacy operations, develop our team and support the growth of our community pharmacy services.

The ideal candidate has strong community pharmacy experience, excellent leadership skills and an interest in long-term care. Previous LTC experience is an asset, and training will be available for candidates looking to expand their knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily pharmacy operations, prescription dispensing, inventory and workflow.
- Lead, supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians and assistants.
- Ensure compliance with Ontario College of Pharmacists standards and applicable legislation.
- Collaborate with the Consultant Pharmacist and long-term care healthcare team.
- Manage pharmacy scheduling, operational performance and quality assurance.
- Oversee medication packaging, automated dispensing systems and pharmacy technology.
- Build relationships with local physicians, clinics and healthcare professionals.




- Develop and grow community pharmacy services and the patient base.
- Identify opportunities to introduce additional clinical and patient care services.
- Establish efficient workflows and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications
- Licensed pharmacist in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
- Strong community or long-term care pharmacy experience.
- Previous management or supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience with Kroll pharmacy software is an asset.
- Familiarity with PacMed and PointClickCare is an advantage.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in growing a new pharmacy.

Schedule: Primarily Monday to Friday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm, with alternating Saturdays, 9:00 am–2:00 pm. Weekday scheduling will be adjusted when working Saturdays. Join Better Life Rx and help us build a pharmacy focused on excellent patient care, teamwork and community relationships.
