Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant to support our healthcare team in delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will assist licensed physiotherapists in implementing treatment plans, preparing patients for therapy sessions, and ensuring a safe and comfortable setting. Responsibilities

- Assist physiotherapists with patient assessments and treatment preparations
- Support patients during therapy sessions, ensuring proper positioning and comfort
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions
- Monitor patient progress and report any concerns to the supervising physiotherapist
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient activities and progress notes
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of therapy equipment and treatment spaces
- Provide compassionate patient care,



including assisting with mobility and exercises as directed
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures to maintain a safe environment

Experience

- Prior hospital experience is preferred, especially within acute care settings
- Experience in patient care, demonstrating compassion and professionalism
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practices is advantageous
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Certification or training related to physiotherapy assistance or healthcare support is a plus

Pay: $17.65-$22.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 per week
