We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Podiatrist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive foot and ankle care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of various podiatric conditions. Experience in hospital settings, research, acute care, pain management, pediatrics, and familiarity with electronic health records like Epic and Cerner are highly valued. Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and physical examinations of the foot and ankle.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing various podiatric conditions such as injuries, deformities, infections, and chronic diseases.
- Perform procedures including wound care, medication administration, minor surgeries, and pain management interventions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals across disciplines to coordinate comprehensive patient care.




- Manage documentation accurately using electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner.
- Collect relevant data for research purposes or quality improvement initiatives.
- Educate patients on foot health, preventive measures, and post-treatment care to promote long-term wellness.
- Assist in home care services by providing specialized foot care in patients' residences when needed.

Experience

- Prior hospital experience or clinical practice in acute care settings is preferred.
- Proven experience in patient care with a focus on podiatric medicine.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to foot and ankle conditions.
- Experience with electronic medical records systems like Epic or Cerner is advantageous.
- Background in research or data collection related to podiatric health is a plus.
- Knowledge of pain management techniques and medication administration protocols is desirable.
- Experience working with pediatric populations or in home care environments will be considered an asset.
