Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team in the role of Cook - Poutine Artist. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic food service environment, contributing to the preparation and presentation of high-quality poutine. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in the food industry, excellent serving skills, and a commitment to food safety standards.

Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.

Duties

- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously, providing excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations.
- Follow food safety protocols at all times to prevent contamination and ensure freshness
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction
- Adhere to store policies regarding food presentation, portion control, and hygiene standards

Skills

- Experience in food service and kitchen environments is highly desirable




- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Understanding of food handling procedures and safety regulations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work collaboratively with team members
- Comfortable working in cold conditions - it's a walk up window, so you'll feel the cold even inside!
- Reliable transportation or within walking distance to the village is preferred.
- Able to work under pressure when it's busy.
- Able to work in minimal supervision, can handle slams and good work ethics.
