Job Summary

We are a new wellness bar, seeking a dedicated and reliable Prep Cook/Dishwasher to join our restaurant team. This role is essential in maintaining smooth kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, assisting with meal preparation, and ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are upheld. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, food safety, and teamwork to contribute to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

- Assist with food preparation including chopping, slicing, and organizing ingredients for daily menu items
- Support cooking processes by following recipes and kitchen procedures to ensure quality and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment through proper washing and sanitizing practices
- Handle food safely in accordance with health regulations and standards
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Assist with serving food when required, ensuring timely delivery to guests
- Keep work areas organized, sanitized, and compliant with safety standards
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by performing additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food service, restaurant,



or kitchen environment preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
- Ability to perform basic food preparation tasks such as chopping and assembling ingredients
- Familiarity with cooking techniques and meal preparation is a plus
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean work environment
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while adhering to safety guidelines
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food service and kitchen operations
- Prior experience in serving or food industry roles is advantageous but not mandatory

This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills within a supportive team environment while contributing to the overall success of our restaurant. Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
