Brampton Fire and Emergency Services is seeking 14 probationary firefighters for full time shifts. Ideal candidates will have a passion for emergency services, including firefighting and rescue operations. You'll engage in public education on fire safety and respond to emergencies, ensuring community well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to emergencies and combat fires
- Perform rescue operations and provide medical aid
- Conduct public fire safety education
- Maintain firefighting equipment and property
- Participate in community service events
Requirements:
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- NFPA 1001 Firefighter I & II certifications
- Valid Ontario Class "D" driver's license with "Z" endorsement
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification
- Ability to complete physical tasks associated with firefighting
