Product Engineering Technologist

Job Responsibilities:

- Lead the new product development and approval processes.

- Conduct experiments and tests to evaluate product performance

- Monitor and analyze data to recommend improvements

- Prepare technical reports and documentation

- Technical support on daily issues.

- Support the procurement of materials and equipment

- Liaison between suppliers, customers and GSI team members.

- Support Quality Assurance Engineer.

- Attend trade shows, meetings and conferences as required.

- Assign and maintain all GSI part numbers, nomenclatures and part descriptions.

- Assure all products and processes meet quality, cost and safety guideline requirements.

- Escalate issues to management and recommend solutions.

- Other duties and projects as assigned by the President.

Requirements

- Technologist Diploma or higher

- 5 years of experience in AC/ Refrigeration Engineering

- Maintain high level of expertise in HVACR

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) along with Microsoft Project and PowerPoint.

- Bilingual abilities in English and Mandarin are preferred to facilitate communication within diverse teams.





- 5 years of experience in AC/ Refrigeration Engineering

- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, maintenance procedures, construction inspection standards, and system troubleshooting.

- Laboratory experience or involvement in product development projects is a plus.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly.

- Strong organizational skills with effective time management capabilities.

- Good decision-making skills and response to high-pressure situations

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
