We are currently seeking a Property Groundskeeper to join our Property Operations team. This role is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and appearance of a portfolio of commercial properties, helping to ensure our sites consistently reflect Plaza's high standards.

This position is ideal for a dependable, hands-on individual who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and can manage responsibilities independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

What You'll Do

Reporting to the Property Manager, you will support the operation and maintenance of Plaza's commercial properties by:

· Performing daily property inspections to ensure sites are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

· Completing parking lot and grounds litter collection each morning.

· Collecting and disposing of garbage from designated property locations.

· Conducting routine inspections of parking lot and exterior lighting and replacing bulbs when appropriate.

· Monitoring property conditions and identifying maintenance deficiencies, safety concerns, and repair requirements.

· Performing minor repairs and maintenance to parking lots, sidewalks, building exteriors, and common areas.

· Completing painting, touch-up work, and general property upkeep as required.

· Conducting regular inspections of roofs, HVAC units, and exterior building components.

· Assisting with seasonal maintenance activities,



including weather-related property care and site preparation.

· Responding to service requests and supporting operational projects as assigned.

· Building positive working relationships with tenants, contractors, customers, and visitors.

· Reporting tenant concerns, incidents, and maintenance issues to the Property Manager.

· Responding to emergency situations and participating in after-hours callouts as required.

· Supporting other property operations and maintenance duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will possess:

· A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

· Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

· General knowledge of building maintenance, groundskeeping and minor repair work considered an asset.

· A commitment to workplace safety and maintaining professional property standards.

· The physical ability to perform manual labour and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
