Purchasing Manager

Location: 125 Lakeshore Rd E, Oakville, ON L6J 1H3. In person.

Permanent, full-time: 30 hours per week. Pay: CAD $60.10 per hour.

CITIA is hiring a Purchasing Manager to support its technology, innovation and training programs.

Responsibilities

- Plan and manage procurement of technology equipment, software and professional services.
- Develop purchasing policies, procurement budgets and supplier evaluation procedures.
- Negotiate supplier terms and contracts and oversee purchase orders and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate procurement priorities with technical and program teams.
- Direct purchasing activities and review supplier performance, costs and quality.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, supply chain management, commerce,



engineering or a related field.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience, including responsibility for coordinating or managing relevant activities.
- English, Mandarin and Cantonese are required.
- Solid supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, budgeting and purchasing skills.
- Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
