Role Description The Registered Massage Therapist is responsible for providing safe, effective, and personalized massage treatments to guests in an on-site spa environment in Mississauga, ON. This full-time role includes assessing client needs, recommending appropriate therapeutic and relaxation treatments, and maintaining accurate treatment records. Day-to-day tasks involve performing a variety of massage techniques, supporting stress relief and wellness goals, and ensuring a clean, organized, and tranquil treatment space.

The therapist will collaborate with spa staff to deliver a seamless guest experience, follow all health and safety standards,



and uphold Sabai Thai Spa’s service quality and brand values. Additional responsibilities include educating guests on self-care, managing appointment schedules, and contributing to a welcoming and professional atmosphere.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide a welcoming, skilled, and empathetic guest experience.
- Proficiency in therapeutic massage techniques, including assessment, treatment planning, and client-focused care.
- Experience or training in specialized modalities such as Shiatsu and body massage for relaxation and wellness.
- Ability to support clients with stress management through appropriate treatment techniques and clear communication.
- Valid registration and good standing with the applicable massage therapy regulatory body in Ontario.
- Knowledge of hygiene, safety, and infection control standards in a spa or clinical setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required by spa operations.
- Previous experience in a spa, wellness center, or clinical massage setting is an asset.
