Sarsfield colonial Home is seeking RPN's for days and evening shifts.
As an RPN on our team you will;
- Ensure that residents are being taken care of according to their needs and following any medical instructions from their physicians accurately and compassionately
- Observe and report on symptoms and overall conditions of residents
- Assist in the planning and development of resident care plans
- Supervise other nursing staff and personal support workers who are assigned to a specific wing or unit
- Work together with the rest of the staff to ensure that the nursing home runs smoothly and that residents receive outstanding around-the-clock care
Candidates must have;
- Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse in valuable standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a primary care team and within a broader inter-disciplinary staff team.
- Experience working effectively with elderly populations is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally. Second language is an asset.
