About Inner Room
Inner Room is a virtual psychotherapy practice in Toronto, working with individuals and couples across Ontario. Our care is women-forward and trauma-informed. Cultural sensitivity shows up in how we work. We're a small team, and we like it that way: we want to grow with the right person that fits our team.
The role
We're hiring one therapist to join the practice.
This posting is for MSW, RSW clinicians with supervised practice hours completed and full registration in hand. You're entering private practice at exactly the right point, fresh clinical foundation and wanting to build.
Most new therapists spend their first year hunting for clients. Referrals already run through this practice, so your calendar fills steadily while you do the clinical work you trained for.
Evening or weekend availability tends to fill calendars faster, not a requirement to apply.
What we offer
- Back office handled. Booking, billing through Jane, intake, and marketing run through the practice.
- A public profile on our site, with chances to write or host a workshop under your own name, so your presence builds alongside your caseload.
- Monthly group clinical consultation included, individual support on request, and you'll work alongside our Clinical Director, Vivian.
- An independent contractor engagement, paid per completed session,
with the exact numbers walked through together before anything is signed.
Requirements
- A Master of Social Work (MSW) degree.
- Active registration in valuable standing with the OCSWSSW as a Registered Social Worker (RSW), with supervised practice hours completed.
- $2,000,000 in professional liability insurance. If you don't have it yet, we can point you to the group plans most new RSWs use.
- Residence in Ontario, with a private, secure space for virtual sessions.
Our practice focuses on the social work lens. This role is for MSW, RSW clinicians (not looking for CRPO registrants).
