We are seeking a Functional Application Support Analyst to provide business-facing support for a portfolio of petro-technical and subsurface applications used across geology, geophysics, drilling, and reservoir engineering teams.

The ideal candidate will possess strong functional knowledge of upstream Oil & Gas workflows and hands-on experience supporting users within Schlumberger and related subsurface application environments. This role will serve as the bridge between business users, application support teams, and vendors to ensure efficient utilization of critical exploration and reservoir management platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Application Support

- Provide day-to-day functional support for petro-technical applications and business users.
- Diagnose, triage, and resolve application incidents, service requests, and user issues.
- Guide users on application functionality, workflows, best practices, and data management processes.
- Support functional testing, validation, and user acceptance activities for application upgrades and enhancements.
- Assist with application configuration changes and business process improvements.
- Manage user access, security roles, and permissions.
- Partner with technical support teams and vendors to resolve complex application issues.
- Maintain functional documentation, user guides, support procedures, and knowledge base articles.
- Conduct user training and knowledge transfer sessions as needed.
- Support onboarding activities for new users and project teams.

Required Qualifications

- 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications.
- Experience supporting upstream Oil & Gas petro-technical or subsurface applications.
- Strong understanding of geoscience, reservoir engineering, drilling, or production workflows.
- Experience working directly with business users in a functional support capacity.
- Ability to translate business requirements into application solutions and support processes.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $44.85/hour - $70.07/hour. Our offered advantages include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
