Ventura is currently accepting applications for the position of Drafting Assistant to join our growing team.

Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the Drafting Manager, the Drafting Assistant is responsible for submitting site layout requests, building permit applications, and creating brochure files.

Responsibilities:

The duties of the Drafting Assistant would include:

· Requesting site layouts in compliance with developers' guidelines and application zoning regulations

· Creating lot specific grading drawings to accompany each site plan request





· Preparing building permit applications complete with all required documentation and plans

· Assisting with the creation of marketing brochures

Requirements:

- Entry level experience in residential construction drafting
- Experience using AutoCAD is required
- Must have excellent mathematical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines
- Solid attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
