Job Title: Production Manager - Days The Production Manager will have complete responsibility and control over all manufacturing, quality, shipping operations, and plant facilities. You will oversee daily operations of the plant, ensuring that policies and procedures are followed while developing processes that enhance safety, quality, and productivity. Ensure attainment of all quality, safety, productivity, service, and cost budgets.

Maintain an appropriately qualified staff for plant operations. Supervise, train, and direct plant supervisors. Oversee production and shipping schedules. Manage the labor force through subordinates in accordance with management guidelines and the Employee Handbook.

Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed customer expectations. Increase production, asset capacity, and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards. Be responsible for production output, product quality, and on-time shipping.

Allocate resources effectively and utilize assets to produce optimal results. Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus. Share a trusting relationship with the workgroup and recruit, manage, and develop plant staff.

Promote a harmonious work workplace where fairness, equity, and non-discriminatory practices are standard. Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime. Commit to plant safety procedures.

Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics, and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets. Follow all workplace safety policies, procedures, and programs. Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (safety shoes, vest, glasses, gloves, and ear plugs).

Skills 3-5 years of experience as a Production Manager. 3 years of manufacturing experience. Hands-on leadership skills, developing and managing a team of 5 salaried employees and 47 hourly staff.

Experience with PPE coaching and instructing.
