Mercatto College St., located in the MaRS building, is looking for an Operations Manager to help lead our team and elevate the guest experience. In this role, you’ll oversee the day-to-day flow of the restaurant, support and guide our people, and ensure every service runs smoothly, efficiently and with genuine hospitality.

What You’ll Do

- Lead floor operations with a strong, service-first presence
- Partner with the General Manager to support daily operations and leadership initiatives
- Coach and mentor team members to foster a positive, respectful culture
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally




- Maintain consistent standards in service, cleanliness, and safety

What You Bring

- 2+ years of experience in restaurant operations or management (preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills
- Ability to balance multiple priorities in a high-energy setting
- Knowledge of scheduling, labour management, and cost controls
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest moments
- Reliability and a solutions-focused mindset
