At Knox Contracting Group, we're growing our Restoration Division, and we're looking for an experienced Restoration Project Manager who wants to be part of something exciting.

Our Restoration Division specializes in insurance repairs, fire and water damage restoration, and property reconstruction. We don't just rebuild buildings — we help people get their homes, businesses, and lives back on track when the unexpected happens.

We're looking for someone who can take charge of projects, build strong relationships, and play an active role in growing our restoration business across Vancouver Island.

We're not looking for someone who just wants to manage a few jobs and collect a paycheque. We want someone who's motivated, organized, great with people, and excited about helping build a successful division within a growing construction group.

What You'll Be Doing

Running Projects Like You Own Them

- Manage restoration projects from initial assessment through to final completion.
- Coordinate trades, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal crews.
- Develop estimates, budgets, schedules, and scopes of work.
- Keep projects on time, on budget, and profitable.
- Maintain excellent communication with homeowners, commercial clients, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders.
- Manage project documentation, change orders, and financial reporting.
- Handle the unexpected (because let's face it, it's restoration — there's always something!).

Building Relationships & Bringing in Business This is a big one. We're looking for someone who can do more than manage projects. We want someone who can help create them.

- Build and maintain relationships with insurance adjusters, brokers, property managers, and other referral partners.
- Actively network within the restoration, insurance, and property management industries.
- Attend industry events, community functions,



and networking opportunities.
- Identify potential clients, develop referral relationships, and help bring new restoration projects into the company.
- Represent the Knox Contracting Group Restoration Division professionally throughout Vancouver Island.
- Work alongside our leadership team to identify growth opportunities and expand our market presence.

You won't be expected to be a full-time salesperson, but we do want someone who understands that great relationships create great opportunities.

What We're Looking For

- Experience in restoration project management, insurance repairs, or a related construction field.
- Strong understanding of restoration processes, estimating, and project budgeting.
- Experience working with insurance adjusters and claims processes.
- Familiarity with Xactimate, Buildertrend, or similar software is an asset.
- Solid leadership, organization, and communication skills.
- A natural ability to connect with people and build lasting relationships.
- A business-minded approach to managing projects and developing opportunities.
- Someone who's comfortable making decisions, taking ownership, and getting things done.
- A valid driver's licence.

- You already have an established network in the insurance and restoration industry.
- You have IICRC certifications.
