Restaurant Supervisor The GOAT Tap & Eatery – Walkerville, Windsor, Ontario The GOAT Tap & Eatery Walkerville is looking for an experienced, dependable and hands-on Restaurant Supervisor to join our leadership team.

This position is ideal for someone with strong restaurant experience who is ready to take on additional responsibility and help lead a busy, fast-paced operation. You’ll work alongside management to oversee day-to-day shifts, support the team and make sure our guests consistently receive a great experience.

What You’ll Do

As a Restaurant Supervisor, you’ll take an active role on the floor while helping oversee the restaurant during your shifts.

Responsibilities include

- Supervising front-of-house operations during assigned shifts
- Leading, supporting and motivating servers, bartenders and support staff
- Ensuring guests receive friendly, efficient and professional service
- Assigning sections and coordinating staff throughout the shift
- Helping manage busy periods, sporting events and special events
- Handling guest concerns and resolving issues professionally
- Supporting opening and closing procedures
- Ensuring cleaning, side work and shift responsibilities are completed
- Monitoring service standards, staff performance and overall restaurant presentation
- Assisting with staff training and development
- Working closely with kitchen staff to maintain smooth communication between FOH and BOH
- Ensuring company policies and procedures are followed
- Supporting responsible alcohol service and Smart Serve compliance
- Assisting management with daily operational needs as required
- Leading by example and stepping in wherever needed during busy shifts

What We’re Looking For
- Previous restaurant serving, bartending or supervisory experience




- Leadership or shift-supervisor experience is strongly preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Confident and professional when managing staff and guest situations
- Ability to stay organized and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of restaurant service standards
- Dependable, punctual and accountable
- Positive attitude with a team-first mentality
- Ability to lead from the floor rather than simply delegate
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- Valid Smart Serve certification required

About the Role This is a hands-on position. Our supervisors are expected to be present on the floor, know what is happening throughout the restaurant and actively support the team.

We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of a shift, recognize problems before they become bigger issues and help create an environment where both our guests and employees have a great experience.
