Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Seasonal Tire Support Technician to join our automotive service team. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for automotive repair and customer service, looking to gain hands-on experience in tire and vehicle maintenance. The position involves assisting with tire installation, repair, and related services during peak seasonal periods, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with hand and power tools, and the ability to perform heavy lifting safely. This is a temporary position designed to support our team during busy seasons, offering valuable industry experience in a professional workplace.

Responsibilities

- Assist with the removal, installation, and repair of tires on various vehicle makes and models using appropriate hand tools and power tools.
- Support technicians in performing routine maintenance tasks related to tire rotation, balancing, and alignment.
- Help maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Use mechanical knowledge to identify tire issues and communicate findings effectively to team members.
- Perform heavy lifting of tires and equipment safely, adhering to safety protocols.




- Provide excellent customer service by answering basic questions about tire services and assisting customers as needed.
- Support inventory management by organizing tire stock and supplies for quick access during busy periods.

Experience

- Previous dealership or automotive repair experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance or repair is advantageous.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance procedures is beneficial.
- Experience in customer service or sales roles can enhance the ability to assist customers effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience working with automotive tires or in seasonal support roles is a plus but not mandatory.
