Permanent, full-time. 30–40 hours per week.

Pay: CAD $48–$60 per hour, depending on qualifications and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and deliver secondary-level lessons using the applicable curriculum and approved course plans.
- Develop learning materials, assignments and assessments, and review AI-assisted materials for accuracy before use.
- Mark student work, assess progress and provide constructive feedback and additional instruction when needed.
- Maintain accurate academic and progress records and communicate with students, families and the academic team as appropriate.
- Identify learning needs, adapt teaching methods and refer issues requiring additional support.




- Participate in academic planning and course improvement while retaining teacher oversight of assessment and academic decisions.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in education or a relevant teaching subject, with appropriate teacher education or equivalent teaching preparation.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
- Relevant secondary-level teaching experience and knowledge of curriculum planning and assessment. Ontario College of Teachers certification is an asset, not a mandatory condition for this private education position.
- English, Mandarin and Cantonese are required. Proficiency in both Mandarin and Cantonese is essential for this position.
