Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring surveillance systems, conducting patrols, and implementing loss prevention strategies. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong observation skills, and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment. Prior experience in law enforcement or security is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided to qualified applicants.

The Security

Guard plays a vital role in safeguarding assets and upholding safety protocols across our facility.

Responsibilities

- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential hazards or unauthorized access
- Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or other incidents
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or security incidents, including assisting law enforcement if necessary
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes
- Control access points by verifying identification and issuing visitor passes as needed




- Assist with loss prevention efforts by observing customer behavior and intervening when necessary
- Ensure all security equipment is operational and report any malfunctions or damages

Requirements

- Prior experience in law enforcement, surveillance, or loss prevention is highly desirable
- Strong observational skills with the ability to identify suspicious behavior or security risks
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with staff, visitors, and law enforcement personnel
- Ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts in various environmental conditions
- Must be able to pass a background check and any required pre-employment screening
- Valid security license or certification as required by local regulations (if applicable)

This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the safety of our community while developing valuable skills in security operations. Pay: $18.00-$18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 – 44.0 per week
