Job Title: Senior Advisor, Controllership

Duration: 13 months (possible extension)

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced finance and accounting professional to join a high-performing team in a strategic role combining technical accounting, financial reporting, governance, and business performance management.

This chance is ideal for someone who can go beyond traditional accounting, provide trusted financial advice, assess complex accounting matters, and influence business decisions through strong financial stewardship.

Key Responsibilities

- Financial Performance & Analysis: Conduct variance analysis across actual and planned results, identify key financial and operational drivers, and prepare insightful performance commentary.
- Month-End Reporting & Controls: Oversee month-end close activities, review financial results, reconciliations, journal entries, reporting submissions, and internal controls.
- Technical Accounting & IFRS: Interpret and apply IFRS requirements, assess complex transactions, and provide recommendations on accounting judgments, estimates, and disclosures.




- Governance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with accounting policies and control standards, identify emerging financial reporting risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Audit & Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Operations, Commercial, Legal, Tax, and internal and external auditors to resolve complex accounting matters.
- Process Improvement & Transformation: Drive simplification, standardization, and automation of finance processes, reporting, and controls.

Required Qualifications

- CPA designation or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise.
- Proven experience applying IFRS in complex business environments
- Experience with month-end close, financial controls, reconciliations, and financial performance analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to connect financial results with operational and commercial drivers and communicate insights clearly.
- Proactive approach to risk identification, process improvement, and business partnering.
