Job Summary

AspiringIT is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer for a leading nuclear engineering services client supporting Ontario's CANDU fleet.

What you'll do

- Lead electrical design and engineering change packages for station power systems (Class I–IV,

MV/LV distribution, motors, transformers, cabling)
- Run power system studies: load flow, short circuit, transients, relay protection and coordination
- Specify and select electrical components; support obsolescence and replacement projects
- Support field work, commissioning and site issue resolution
- Review junior engineers' work and work directly with utility clients

What you bring

- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering
- 6+ years of experience, ideally in nuclear or power generation
- P.Eng (PEO)
- CANDU design and engineering change experience
- Working knowledge of CSA N286, CSA N290.5, CSA C22.1 and IEEE standards
- ETAP or SKM

Nice to have

- I&C; exposure
- Ontario refurbishment project experience
- Equipment qualification (EQ)

Must be eligible for nuclear site security clearance and export-control requirements.
