Build enterprise cloud applications with Java and Golang as a Senior Consultant on CIBC’s Shared Platform Technology team in Toronto. Work onsite one to three days weekly, with remaining days remote.
You’ll support CIBC’s digital transformation through complex applications spanning multiple back-end systems. This senior role combines hands-on coding with technical design, development, integration, and subject matter expertise. You��ll work with Kubernetes, APIs, and cross-functional application systems while helping enhance client experiences across lines of business.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and test Java and Golang computer programs
Review, analyze, modify, encode, test, and debug systems
Design, develop, and integrate multi-platform application systems
Gather requirements and prepare design specifications
Support developers as a subject matter expert
Requirements
Ten years of experience
Java EE or Java SE development ability
Valuable knowledge of Golang considered an asset
Familiarity with Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift
Computer Science or related field of study
