Apply nuclear piping layout expertise at AtkinsRéalis, developing CANDU process system designs and documentation independently or under senior guidance. This role is based in a multidisciplinary engineering workplace.

As a Senior Piping Layout Engineer/Designer, you will complete mechanical scopes within AtkinsRéalis and Candu Energy quality programs. Your work includes piping supports, pipe sizing, equipment layouts, design packages, technical documents, and supplier reviews. You will coordinate with clients, suppliers, stakeholders, and other disciplines while supporting nuclear design execution.

Key Responsibilities

Develop conceptual, preliminary, and detailed CANDU process system designs

Prepare piping layouts, supports, drawings, calculations, and specifications

Complete Design Change Packages and Design Change Notices





Coordinate engineering activities with clients, suppliers, and disciplines

Support field changes, commissioning, walk-downs, and design revisions

Requirements

Mechanical engineering degree recognized by Professional Engineers Ontario

Mandatory Professional Engineer license

Minimum ten years of related heavy industrial experience

Knowledge of piping systems, stress analysis, supports, and applicable codes

Excellent communication, technical writing, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills

Bring senior nuclear piping design experience, technical documentation skills, and P.Eng credentials to AtkinsRéalis engineering projects.
