We are seeking an experienced Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Specialist to conduct a PIA for the Out of Country Prior Approval System (OOC PA) within the Ontario Public Sector.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the OPS Privacy Impact Assessment Process and Tools, privacy compliance, and public-sector privacy assessments.

Solid knowledge of FIPPA, MFIPPA, PHIPA, PIPEDA, privacy legislation, and applicable Ontario government policies, standards, and regulations is required.

Experience assessing privacy risks, developing risk mitigation strategies, and ensuring the protection of personal information across IT systems and business processes is essential.

Candidates must understand IT security, system interfaces, information architecture, data flows, data flow diagrams, and business process diagrams.

The role requires expertise in privacy policies, records management, information retention and disposition, risk assessment methodologies, and AODA accessibility standards.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are required to lead PIA activities, gather organizational input, and communicate privacy requirements to technical and business teams.
