Senior Advisor, Controllership

Location: Montreal, QC

Work Arrangement: Hybrid – Minimum 3 days onsite per week

Language: Bilingual – English & French (mandatory)

We are seeking a Senior Advisor, Controllership with strong expertise in technical accounting, financial reporting, and financial governance. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate month-end closing, IFRS compliance, effective internal controls, and provide financial insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee month-end closing, financial reporting, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Apply IFRS standards and provide technical accounting advice on complex transactions.
- Perform financial and variance analysis and prepare management reporting.
- Strengthen internal controls, governance, and audit compliance.




- Collaborate with Finance, Tax, Legal, Operations, and senior stakeholders.
- Drive process improvement, standardization, and automation of finance processes.

Required Qualifications
- CPA designation or equivalent accounting qualification.
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience.
- Hands-on IFRS application in complex business environments.
- Experience in month-end close, internal controls, and audit support.
- Solid analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and French is mandatory.
