Overview

We are seeking a shirt steamer/presser who has experience using industrial air operated shirt press machines, cuff and collar press machines, steam-powered machines and hand-held irons to remove wrinkles, shape, and finish garments and textiles for our dry cleaning business.

- Operate Equipment: Run commercial Sankosha shirt press machine, air operated steam pressers, cuff and collar press machine, hand held irons.
- Inspect Quality: Check finished shirts, pants, jackets, and dresses for lingering wrinkles, damage, or stains.
- Touch-Ups: Use hand-held steam irons.
- Assembly & Bagging: Fold, match tags with invoices, and bag finished items for pickup or delivery
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment to promote a safe and hygienic environment
- Knowledge of various fabrics and their temperature settings. Must also match fabric heat with correct pressure settings to prevent damage to delicate materials.
- Ensure all garments are pressed according to specific customer or company specifications
- Report any equipment malfunctions or issues promptly

Requirements

- Previous experience working in a Dry Cleaning facility is highly preferred
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality and presentation
- Good physical stamina — able to stand for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
