We combine master craftsmanship with high-end material selection and tech-driven project management to deliver exceptional home transformation projects across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and York Region.

We are looking for a sharp, client-facing Design-Build Consultant who bridges the gap between aesthetic interior design and technical construction precision. Whether your background is in Architectural Technology (AT) or Technical Interior Design (ID), if you excel at guiding homeowners through complex design choices while understanding how a house is put together from the studs up, this role is for you.

Position Overview

As our primary Showroom Sales & Design-Build Consultant, you will anchor our Concord flagship showroom. You will greet walk-in retail clients, custom home builders, and trade contractors, manage their material selections, and translate their vision into comprehensive, line-item estimates.

Beyond sales, you will act as the crucial link between our clients, our working field supervisors, and our off-site logistics coordinators—ensuring that every project starts with bulletproof scope clarity and accurate technical measurements.

Key Responsibilities

Showroom Leadership & Client Experience: Manage the flagship Vaughan showroom, guiding clients through high-end displays of hardwood flooring, custom stair components, architectural millwork, and luxury interior finishes.

Consultative Upselling: Elevate single-trade inquiries (e.g., flooring or stair refreshes) into full-scope 360-degree home renovation contracts through expert spatial design and consultative dialogue.

Technical Estimating & Takeoffs: Review architectural floor plans and site measurements to calculate exact material takeoffs, waste factors, and preliminary budget ranges using modern project software (e.g., JobTread).

Scope & Feasibility Review:



Leverage your understanding of residential construction to evaluate structural layout changes, wall removals, or staircase modifications against the Ontario Building Code.

Seamless Handoff to Field Ops: Compile approved selection packages, scope notes, and technical drawings into clean handoff files for our field leads and off-site coordinators, minimizing rework and project drift.

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)

Education & Background: Diploma or Degree in Architectural Technology, Interior Design, or Construction Management. (Candidates with BCIN certification or field renovation experience strongly preferred).

Industry Experience: 3+ years of experience in residential construction, interior design, home renovations, or custom millwork sales within the GTA market.

Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with 2D/3D design and estimating software (e.g., Chief Architect, AutoCAD, 2020 Design, SketchUp, or JobTread).

Construction Literacy: Ability to read blueprints, interpret architectural drawings, and distinguish load-bearing structures from partition walls.

Sales Acumen: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a proven track record of converting showroom walk-ins and inquiries into signed contracts.

Detail-Oriented: Highly organized, capable of managing multiple active estimates and client files without dropping the ball.
