Capital Auto Group is looking for a friendly and reliable Shuttle Driver to provide safe and dependable transportation for customers to and from our dealerships and their destinations. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing a positive customer experience, and prioritizes safety behind the wheel.

This is a temporary, full-time position for tire season, with the chance for casual, on-call shifts once the season ends.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate company shuttle vehicles to transport customers to and from the dealership and designated locations.
- Greet customers warmly and assist with entering and exiting the vehicle, including handling personal belongings.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
- Report any vehicle damage, mechanical issues, or safety concerns immediately to management.
- Follow all traffic laws, defensive driving practices, and dealership safety procedures.
- Use the company shuttle app to manage routes, confirm destinations, and communicate with dispatch.
- Adapt to changing traffic, weather, and routing conditions while maintaining timely service.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor as a representative of Capital Auto Group.
- Assist with additional dealership tasks as assigned by management.

Required Skills

- Identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner.
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of streets and the geographic of the Eastern Avalon area.
- Trustworthy and capable of working unsupervised.
- Excellent punctuality and attendance with a commitment to consistently arriving at work on time.





Qualifications

- Long periods of sitting while operating a vehicle.
- Having full body mobility and be able to twist, turn, bend at the waist, squat and lift baggage up to 50lbs.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Class 4 Drivers License with a Driver's Abstract is required.
- 5+ years of safe and incident-free driving experience.
- Record of Conduct.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
