High Level Exteriors is a small, family-run siding company in Ottawa. We have more demand than we can handle right now, and we’re looking for someone who brings experience, initiative, a strong work ethic, who wants to get genuinely good at the trade and build a long-term future with us.
THE WORK
You’ll work directly alongside our owner and lead installer with over 20 years of experience.
Our projects include residential siding, soffit, and fascia installations, from complete exterior replacements to more detailed architectural siding work.
You’ll be involved in tear-offs, wall preparation, house wrap, insulation, strapping, siding installation, trim, and finishing details.
Quality matters here. We want someone who pays attention to the details, respects homeowners’ properties, and understands that doing the job properly is more important than simply getting it done.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Previous hands-on siding experience is preferred, particularly with vinyl installation. We’re also open to candidates with related exterior construction experience and a willingness to learn.
- Someone who takes initiative, recognizes what needs doing, and keeps moving without constant direction.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a consistent work ethic.
- The ability to follow instructions, work at a productive pace, and ask questions when something isn’t clear.
- Attention to workmanship, safety, and the little details that make a difference.
- A valid driver’s licence,
reliable transportation, and your own basic hand tools.
- Comfortable working with power tools and at heights.
- Experience using an aluminum brake is an asset. Working at Heights training is preferred, but can be arranged for the right candidate.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Starting at $25/hour, with higher pay based on experience and demonstrated ability.
- Opportunities for wage increases as your skills, independence, and responsibilities grow.
- A variety of siding materials and projects, with opportunities to develop more advanced installation skills.
- Full-time hours during the main construction season, with reduced hours during winter.
- A long-term prospect to grow with a small company, including the potential to take on leadership responsibilities as our team expands.
We’re not looking for someone who knows everything. We’re looking for someone who takes the work seriously, looks out for the people around them, and wants to become genuinely skilled at what they do. If you’re dependable, motivated, and ready to build something long-term, we’d like to hear from you.
