About the Role
The primary purpose of this position is to work as an active member of the nursing team to provide a high standard of care to patients at the Hemodialysis Unit at the Charles S Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony, NL. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for maintaining professional and organizational standards and practice in accordance with the LG Model of Nursing Clinical Practice and reports to the Clinical Nurse Manager.

Qualifications:

- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing or an approved University with a Bachelor of Nursing;





- Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador;

- 1 year current acute care nursing experience preferred;

- Hemodialysis Education Program or equivalent education or willingness to complete (within time frame designated by the employer);

- Current certification in Basic Life Support (CPR);

- The successful applicant will be required to submit a satisfactory certificate of conduct.

Duties: (Included but not limited to)

- Organizes, plans, implements, and evaluates the plan of care for assigned clients;

- Maintains competency in technological and clinical skills to provide hemodialysis in a satellite unit;

- Maintains equipment and supplies;

- Documents as per skilled and organizational standards;

- Other related duties as required.
