Condor Security is recruiting for professional Student Campus Security Guard positions at high end luxury student residences. They provide excellent customer service, perform access control, and patrol the property to both proactively prevent issues and respond to any concern or incident. They assist with orienting and directing recent residents, helping them find their way through the residence and answer any question on security and campus life safety. Security personnel at student residences perform various administrative tasks to assist the Property Management. A Student Campus Security Guard’s day to day routine can be quite dynamic. There are often various incidents that arise, and security team members will need to respond in a coordinated manner with other team members to come to a professional and appropriate resolution to the incident. Effective and tactical communication skills are a must, and Condor offers a number of training opportunities to improve this skill, such as the respected and well known Verbal Judo system developed by Dr.

George

Thompson.

Job Requirements

Commercial Tactical Security Guards maintain a visible security presence at commercial properties, conduct patrols, monitor CCTV and access points, deter criminal activity, and respond to security incidents. The role requires vigilance, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. $18.00 – $20.00 and up ! Employee health & benefits package !

Job Expectations





- Maintain a proactive security presence and remain alert throughout the shift
- Follow site procedures and respond professionally to incidents
- Communicate clearly, exercise sound judgment, and complete accurate reports
- Participate in mandatory training and take accountability for assigned duties

Job Responsibilities

- Conduct patrols and monitor CCTV and access points where available
- Deter and respond to theft, trespassing, vandalism, and unauthorized activity
- Respond to emergencies according to site procedures
- Document incidents and preserve relevant evidence
- Coordinate with Dispatch, MPS, property management, and emergency services as required

Job Qualifications

- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence in good standing
- Valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR certification
- Strong communication, observation, and report-writing skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle multiple priorities
- Flexible availability, including weekdays, weekends, and overnight shifts, depending on site requirements
- Security experience and additional industry-recognized certifications are assets
