Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of full-time Team Leader on-site at our Food Store location in Choiceland, Saskatchewan.

What You Will Do

- Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives with a strong customer-focused approach.
- Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels.
- Build and lead a high-performance team that delivers on budgeted targets by maximizing operational efficiency and providing quality service.
- Provide superior leadership to team members through coaching, mentoring, and performance management systems.
- Ensure team members are displaying, stocking, and rotating merchandise with a focus on visually appealing presentation.
- Ensure inventories are responsibly managed to maintain high levels of accuracy and minimal loss.
- Resolve escalated customer concerns professionally, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
- Oversee the completion of daily reports,



deposits, cash reconciliations, and purchases.
- Adhere to all Lake Country Co-op policies and government regulations in relation to the sale of age restricted items, such as liquor, lottery, and tobacco products.
- Respond to emergencies, staffing shortages, or operational issues as required.

Who You Are

- High school diploma or equivalent; 5+ years experience in retail grocery operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Co-operative Retailing System experience and post-secondary education in a business-related field are assets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate, and lead teams.
- Adaptable schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Able to fulfill physical job requirements, including standing for entire shift and lifting up to 50lbs.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license.
