Job Title: Senior Business Systems Analyst – Hedge Accounting

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Contract: 1 Year | Possible extension

Role Overview : Seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst with robust hedge accounting domain expertise to support a Treasury Technology initiative. The role focuses on translating business requirements into functional specifications and supporting system implementation, testing, and validation.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather and document requirements from Treasury, Finance, Accounting, and Technology stakeholders.
- Translate hedge accounting processes and business rules into functional and technical specifications.
- Analyze application workflows, system configurations, and functionality gaps.
- Write SQL queries to analyze and validate data.
- Review JSON configuration files and structured technical information.




- Collaborate with developers, architects, and business teams on solution design.
- Support testing, issue investigation, and delivery validation.

Required Qualifications

- Proven hedge accounting domain knowledge and application/project experience .
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear functional specifications.
- Working knowledge of SQL and familiarity with JSON/configuration files.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with specialized hedge accounting solutions and Treasury systems.
- Exposure to AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
