Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver - Class 1 to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating logging and hauling trucks to transport logs across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to work with a skilled team in a dynamic environment, utilizing both driving skills and knowledge of heavy equipment operation.

Duties

- Load and unload goods
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
- Perform brake adjustments
- Perform emergency roadside repairs
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
- Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo

· Air Brake (Z) Endorsement

· Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
