Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Vegetable Picker, with a day-to-day focus on potato grading and sorting. This position is essential for maintaining product quality, adhering to food safety regulations, and supporting overall quality assurance processes within our agricultural operation. The successful candidate will contribute to the efficient processing of produce while ensuring safety and quality control throughout the production line.Responsibilities & Job Duties

- Inspect incoming produce for size, appearance, and quality according to established standards.
- Sort potatoes based on size, grade, and defect criteria using manual methods.
- Support quality assurance initiatives by identifying defective or substandard produce.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while maintaining quality standards.
- Participate in ongoing training related to food safety, health and safety, and quality control procedures.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in accordance with food safety standards.

Employment Requirements

- Education: No minimum education requirements (No degree, certificate, or diploma required).
- Experience: No experience required; employer is willing to train.
- Language:



Clear verbal English skills for required health and safety training.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
- Equipment: Candidates are required to provide their own CSA-rated safety shoes or boots.
