Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Vineyard Worker to join our team and assist with the cultivation, maintenance, and overall care of our vineyard. This role involves hands-on work in a dynamic agricultural environment, supporting the growth and health of grapevines to ensure a successful harvest. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, detail-oriented, and possess a robust work ethic to contribute effectively to our vineyard operations.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine vineyard maintenance including pruning, trellising, and vine training
- Assist with irrigation setup, monitoring, and adjustments to ensure optimal water distribution
- Operate farm machinery and power tools safely and efficiently for various tasks such as mowing, tilling, or harvesting
- Use hand tools for planting, pruning, and other vineyard activities
- Conduct inspections of vines for pests, diseases, or other issues requiring attention
- Support heavy lifting tasks related to grape harvests or equipment movement
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment
- Follow safety protocols during all vineyard activities to prevent accidents or injuries

Requirements





- Basic knowledge of horticulture principles and vineyard management practices
- Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery and power tools operation
- Experience with irrigation systems and maintenance is preferred
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Familiarity with hand tools used in agricultural settings
- Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to vineyard tasks
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality standards
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout the day
